About the CMA Exam
CMA is a leading management accounting qualification in the United States, and is rapidly growing in recognition throughout the Middle East. Education Requirements
▪ Interested CMA candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, in any discipline, from an accredited college or university.
Exam Procedures
§ The CMA Examination is given in a computer-based format.
§ The CMA Examination is offered daily (except holidays) at Prometric Testing Centers. Below are details on the location here in the UAE where the CMA Exams can be taken:

§ Once you have received authorization from ICMA, it is your responsibility to schedule your appointment at a Prometric Testing Center within the stated time period.

Confirm, reschedule, or cancel your appointment 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Testing Windows:
§ Parts 1 and 2 will be given during the following three testing window periods:
è January and February
è May and June
è September and October
§ Results are available 6 weeks after the close of the testing window.
CMA Exam Format
Each part of the exam contains the following format:
Part 1: Financial Planning, Performance and Control (4hours)
▪ 100 multiple choice questions (3 hours to complete and you must be able to complete 50% of the multiple choice questions correctly before you can proceed to the essay section)
▪ Two 30 minutes essay questions (1 hour to complete and presented only after you have completed the multiple choice section)
Part 2. Financial Decision Making (4 hours)
▪ 100 multiple choice questions (3 hours to complete and you must be able to complete 50% of the multiple choice questions correctly before you can proceed to the essay section)
▪ Two 30 minutes essay questions (1 hour to complete and presented only after you have completed the multiple choice section)
